Label Shristi Chetani is the brain child of designer Shristi Chetani, a NIFT alumni.The brand caters on breaking down all the traditional boundaries and provides designs to all body sizes. The amalgamation of traditional forms and modern sensibilities onto contemporary, indo-western and ethnic wear by fascinating various techniques of hand embroideries, dyeing and digital printing procedure which amplifies the label’s vision for making each garment a timeless silhouette. Shristi has always envisioned her design aesthetics through her love for bold prints and incorporating them onto classic fabrics by expressing them in a fluttering fashion silhouettes which makes her brand stand out among the crowd and each member of Family SC is blessed with an unique style all across the globe. The brand promotes positive affirmations through its garments and promises each women to feel empowered while they wear Label Shristi Chetani every-time they step out.
THE DESIGNER
Shristi Chetani, founded the label at the age of 22, in 2019 after graduating from National Institute of Fashion Technology, Kolkata, India. She was awarded the best garment construction award upon graduating. She always knew that she wanted to be a designer and have her own brand. Soon after completing her designing education she took a leap towards pursuing her dream of having her label, Shristi Chetani. Her design philosophy is of minimalism and contemporary aesthetics which demands to make all her actions result into perfection. Alongside running the label she always looked out for opportunities to gain experiences in the fashion industry which lead her to an internship at London Fashion Week 2020, and showcasing at Asian Designers Week 2019 which gave her career as a designer and a fashion entrepreneur a huge jump. Shristi was also rewarded as a young entrepreneur 30 Under 30 by Entrepreneurs Today in 2023. She’s always believed in being rooted to her traditional heritage hence she believes in promoting the craftsmanship of India which lead her on to making the brand a full hand crafted in embellished work which blends into contemporary design values keeping alive the traditional crafts.
